RESPONSIBILITIES
• Architect, develop and deploy CMS solutions

• Perform usability testing and assessment for projects, as well as ad hoc usability evaluations of varying levels of complexity

• Engage with development team to resolve technical questions and requirements

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 5+ years CMS development & management experience

• Self-motivated and driven to learn outside of work environment
• Knowledge of IT systems and technology with strong experience building front-end code for web applications across browsers and devices

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a large outsourcing company based in London due to the acquisition of a number of new clients. Due to this acquisition, a MAC consultant is needed to provide consultative support to clients within the M25.

The successful MAC consultant will be on client site 80% of the time - installing/configuring MAC desktops, servers as well as being involved in the integration of Active Directory with Windows. The role is a 80:20 split in favour of MAC, with a slight windows aspect. You will be in the office, based in London, very rarely although you must be able to drive both to client site and the central office.

In terms of skills required to be successful for the role, you must be a MAC orientated engineer with experience of supporting MAC OSX, desktops as well as having the ability to integrate Active Directory within MAC server. As clients may require you to consult on their windows systems, experience of working within windows would be desirable, although training will be provided. .

This opportunity would suit a MAC inclined engineer who is looking for a field role, where you will be travelling around London installing, implementing and configuring mac devices as well as providing consultancy for clients in respect of the aforementioned. It is likely that you will have experience of agile development underpinned by continuous testing and version control.

The successful candidate will be able to show:

a) Successful delivery of complex backend PHP projects, linking with MySQL databases and front end websites

b) Understanding of system architecture, design and good coding practices

c) A thorough understanding of secure code, work on e-commerce systems and integrating with payment gateways

d) Solid MVC Frameworks and Object Oriented Programming experience, such as Kohana

e) API experience using SOAP and REST methods
