* To undertake electrical/mechanical repairs, refurbishment and installation tasks
* To comply with the Company's procedures for electrical documentation in order to ensure all changes/additions to electrical control circuitry, supply distribution and/or parts specification undertaken by the comapnies Maintenance personnel are forwarded to the Company Electrical Duty Holder.
* To actively participate /facilitate continuous improvements, initiatives, identifying and implementing manufacturing improvement opportunities.
* To provide technical advice/support for electrical maintenance aspects on equipment procurement, installation and plant refurbishment projects.
* To carry out electrical/mechanical maintenance activities to standards of hygiene/housekeeping appropriate to a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications & Experience

* Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship
* Experience of repairing and maintaining manufacturing plant & equipment
* Experience of working with PLC's (Siemens S7, S5 and Alan Bradley - would be advantageous)

Remuneration

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 6 am to 6 pm rotating shifts (Days and Nights)

Production Bonus: £60 per week when achieved by production (usually 4 to 6 times a year)
