My client requires a Higher Level Teaching Assistant from April 2014 for a maternity cover in a Primary School in Bury up to July 2014, possibly longer.

This is a smaller than average size primary school serving an urban area of social and economic disadvantage. The number of pupils eligible for free school meals is above the national average. Nearly all pupils are of White British heritage. The proportion of pupils with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including those with a statement of special educational need, is above average. The school has been awarded Healthy Schools status. Since the last inspection pupil numbers have declined significantly because of a drop in the number of school age children in its locality. Pupils in Years 3, 4 and 5 are now taught in two mixed age classes as a result.

Randstad Education is the UK market leader in Education. We have been established for nearly 20 years and we work with 1500 schools every week and our staff support over 135,000 children every day.

Our specialist Primary team have a combined experience with Randstad Education of 24 years and have unrivalled reputation within the Greater Manchester Primary market, taking great pride in the extremely high service levels that we provide to both our schools and our candidates. Our service is honest and efficient and, in addition to our recruitment solution, we offer the opportunity for additional training and development for our candidates. You will also receive personalised career support from the team.

This job is for a Higher Level Teaching assistant who is looking to expand their knowledge and experience within a primary school environment.

If you are a Level 4 teaching assistant or Higher Level Qualified, with experience of delivering lessons in Key Stage 1 and 2 and can start a new position in April, please send your CV and/or call our specialist Primary consultants on [contact details removed] .

Level 3 experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support an Autistic child in Key Stage 1 in a Bolton Primary School. This position is to start as soon as possible and is ongoing, dependent on funding.

This job is to provide 1:1 support for an autistic child in Key Stage 1 until Christmas 2014 and may continue longer depending on authority funding.

This smaller than average primary school serves an area of considerable social disadvantage. A large proportion of pupils are from White British backgrounds. Of those from other ethnic backgrounds, only a few are at the early stages of learning English. The school receives additional local authority funding to provide for small groups of pupils with specific learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

This job is for a Level 3 qualified teaching assistant who has experience of supporting young children with Autism. Team Teach training will be provided if you do not already have the necessary qualification. This is a supportive team that is dedicated to providing the best care for their children whilst assisting them with the transition into mainstream. The children work towards the National Curriculum levels and the structure of the days is similar to most classes with all core and foundation subjects taught in conjunction with social and communication skills. They do additional group work including movement (body awareness), language groups, singing groups and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System). The children also spend half an hour a day doing individual work linked to their IEP (Individual Education Plan).

If you are qualified to Level 3, have recent experience of supporting children on the Autistic Spectrum and can start immediately, send your CV and/or call our specialist Primary consultants on [contact details removed] .
