Applicants for the above post must hold a minimum of a NVQ. Level 3 in caring for young people or an equivalent qualification in child care.
They must have a minimum of 2 years experience of working in a children residential home.
They must hold a full driving licence.

The successful candidate will be required to work as and when required to cover emergency's, holidays, training and sick leave, you may also be required to sleep in at the home and/or required for weekend working.
You will also be working directly with our young people therefore taking an active mentoring role; you will of course also take responsibility for the young people's welfare at all times whilst on duty.
The post will also involve a large amount of administrative work and record keeping.

All job roles within the company will be subject to a satisfactory CRB being received along with satisfactory references from your previous employer.
