Opportunities include:



* Vehicle mechanic: Working on engines and vehicle systems, you diagnose problems and come up with repair solutions. Advanced training equips you to work on everything from motorcycles and generators to armoured vehicles, trucks and tanks.



* General Fitter:You service, maintain and repair plant machinery, such as JCBs or Caterpillar excavator. You'll become an expert in workshop practice, understanding petrol and diesel engines, generators and pumps.



* Engineer logistics specialist

Working on base and in combat zones, you make sure essential supplies get to where they’re needed, safely and at the right time



* Geographic support technician

You compile and manage geographic data from a variety of sources. The detailed analysis you provide, with access to advanced IT kit and geographic information systems, is essential.



* Survey engineer

Your input is vital in large-scale building projects. You’ll map out the site before work starts, using GPS technology to ensure the site is set out correctly to plan.



Qualifications to gain include:

* Apprenticeship Level 2 NVQ in Warehousing and Storage
* Foundation Modern Apprenticeship (FMA)
* Level 2 NVQ in Engineer Maintenance and Installation
* Variety of driving licences
* National Certificate in Building Studies and Computer Aided Design
* NVQ Level 2 in IT
* Level 5 Higher Diploma in Engineering Surveying





Qualifications required: Not all of these roles require any previous qualification. Some may require 2 GCSEs at C grade in English Language and Maths /Science/ICT.

The candidate will provide support for learning initiatives by bringing key skills in content development, learning management, and experience creating and leading multiple phases of project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:-

*Develops programs for 3 primary audiences: employees, partners and customers.
*Works closely with subject matter experts i.e. development team, products team, product marketing, sales operations etc. to leverage core content and build effective learning programs.
*Develops learning programs that include multiple modalities: self-paced e-learning, virtual and face to face workshops and on the job learning activities.
*Creates complimentary instructor lead training including exercises, role plays, simulations, and job aids as needed.
*Ability to program manage multiple complex learning projects simultaneously. Monitors activity, progress, and time related to project development using a project planning tool.

*Ensures learning and performance objectives are appropriate to the audience and that the training materials meet the learning and performance objectives.
*Experience creating, editing, synchronising and/or recording both audio and video for elearning courses.
*Monitors and reports effectiveness of all training conducted and revise courses as needed.
*Performs quality assurance checks on training courses that have been developed.
*Support and maintain the global knowledge base and repository for best practice documents, key tools and templates.
*Translates needs analysis and functional specifications into detailed course designs.
*Use eLearning tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Brainshark, Cornerstone, WebEx to create interactive, SCORM compliant web based training deliverables
*Builds e-learning that is SCORM compliant and can be tracked by the LMS. Works with LMS vendor, IT or software vendor to resolve any technical issues with the web based training course or its performance within the LMS.
*Works with subject matter experts to design and develop audience-appropriate, clear, and concise training content.
*Assist with quarterly operational reviews, preparation and analysis.

Qualifications & Experience:

*Bachelor's Degree preferred (in a technical area: computer science, engineering, education, instructional design, information systems, technology)
*8+ years related experience
*PMP certification preferred
*Experience administering, creating and hosting e-learning programs and knowledge of content development and testing/survey tools such as Articulate, Brainshark, Camtasia and Cornerstone
*Ability to apply structured problem solving (taking a large, complex problem and breaking it down into components, involve others as needed, drive resolution)
