Due to growth, an opportunity is available for an experienced Web Developer (Front End) to join the UK’s leading employee benefits and insurance company. Based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, the successful Web Developer will earn £20,000 to £22,200 depending on experience and will support multiple client projects.
As Web Developer you will develop and maintain websites and other IT related activities as well as devise, plan, and deliver comprehensive support to the group and our clients. The key duties of the successful Web Developer will include:
• Maintain and develop websites and solve other IT related activities within the Client Solutions Department. • Take part in all parts of the web development ‘life cycle’: specification, design, implementation and testing, as required. • Manage projects and ensure that any changes are done within a reasonable timeframe • Organisation and effective management of own work schedule and support the Commercial Team / Managers and Client Solutions Manager. • Work closely with all areas of the business, particularly the Commercial Team to build effective client relationships and provide the support required to meet client expectations.
The successful Web Developer should be able to demonstrate their experience in a similar role in addition to possessing the following skills and experience:
• Knowledge of web development lifecycle, standards and effective design strategies • Ability to analyse, design and implement software solutions for the benefit of clients, their employees and internal customers. • Basic graphics manipulation • Technical skills: HTML (In Depth), CSS (In Depth) and ASP.Net • Experience: Microsoft Visual Studio, Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver and Photoshop), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access). • Deliver technical solutions to support internal and external customers • Able to take the initiative to solve problems as they arise and identify where there is a need for a task to be completed by other team members. • Be a team player who is approachable and personable and able to communicate effectively with people at all levels both internally and externally while maintaining a professional manner at all times. • Be pro-active and self-motivated with ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines • Infacta Groupmail preferred/ understanding and ability to create and send e-shots
