The Company  

As a skilled provider of audit, accounting, tax and business services including outsourced finance functions and payroll, our client is an Accountancy Age Top 100 UK Accounting Practice.  

Our client is experiencing significant growth and, as such, is now looking for a Trainee Accountant to join their team in Banbury.

Your Role  

As a Trainee Accountant, you will help to provide a high quality accounting service for clients.  

Specifically, you will:  

- Prepare client accounts based on information supplied by the client  
- Prepare simple tax returns  
- Assist with the preparation of VAT returns  

About You  

Whilst no experience is necessary, to be considered, you will need:  

- To be eager to pursue a career in accountancy  
- A good level of IT literacy, including experience of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint  
- A-Level qualifications (or equivalent)  
- To be based within a commutable distance of our client’s office in Banbury  

Other companies may call this role AAT Trainee, Trainee Accounts Technician, Junior Accounts Technician, or Trainee Accounts Clerk.
