Commercial Customer Service Advisor - Southampton
Location: Southampton
Role Type: permanent - full time
Salary: GBP18,000-GBP27,000
Working Hours: 37.50 per week
The Role
Here's to delivering a customer service that's second to none. As Commercial Customer Service Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact - and first port of call - for your own portfolio of commercial customers. And we'll be there to support you every step of the way - however far you want to go in your career.
In this advisory role, you'll take personal accountability for your customers - doing everything you can to strengthen relationships and keep on improving the service you provide. That means understanding what each of your customer's needs, then giving them the advice and information they need to make better informed decisions. You'll work on accounts big and small - developing new relationships as well as building on existing ones - representing Swinton in your community, and promoting the brand across your region.
We're looking for someone with experience of delivering customer service at a high level - and of using initiative to deliver it proactively. Experience of working in insurance, or insurance brokering, would be a bonus - but it isn't essential. What is essential is that you feel comfortable working in a team. But most importantly, you'll have an innate passion for customer care - and of delivering it at a commercial level.
In return, we'll do everything we can to look after you too. You'll be part of an ambitious business that's always thinking ahead - defining, planning and building for a better future. You'll have your own rewards & benefits package, a personal development plan and lots of opportunities to do things the way you think they should be done.
As a Financial Services organisation we comply with and support the requirements set by our Regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which are designed to protect our customers. This means if your application is successful, you'll need to satisfy some important background checks before you can start working with us. These will include a full credit enquiry, a criminal record check, residency and right to work checks.
