The sector-leading Foundation English team at Exeter College is dedicated to an experience of post-16 English that prioritises difference, engagement, and confidence: A very different experience to school, encouraging new and exciting approaches. English should be inherently engaging, so every lesson we teach aims to showcase the joy of the subject. Many of our learners lack confidence and we tackle that head on by equipping our students with the tools they need to overcome their personal barriers.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Leader to join this innovative and creative team to deliver GCSE and Functional-Skills English teaching. Successful candidates will be flexible and willing to adapt their teaching and learning approaches at short notice. You will have a passion for supporting and motivating learners who may have previously found English challenging. You will also be a strong communicator and relate effectively to young people.

We are looking for the successful candidate to start on 21st August 2019.
