Our client is based in the security industry and offer first class security service from alarm systems to actual site patrols. Due to company expansion they are adding an Alarm Engineer to the existing team of engineers.
JOB PURPOSE: The engineer will ensure that all new customer installations and existing customer service needs are handled in an efficient and cost effective manner to ensure client retention and profitability are both optimised.
SKILLS: Access Control Systems - Biometric Turnstiles, Paxton Net 2, IP/ Analogue CCTV, Intruder & Fire Alarm Systems
JOB DUTIES:
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, specification and within budget
• Manage changes to the installation or service projects scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Takes personal responsibility for own attendance and punctuality to ensure minimum disruption to the business and the client.
• Takes personal responsibility for pride in their own appearance and in the cleanliness of their workwear, equipment and vehicle.
• Is accountable for the serviceability and effectiveness of their own tools and equipment.
• Takes ownership of any Health or Safety issues on site and ensures appropriate resolution seeking assistance where necessary.
• Is personally responsible for maintaining company standards whilst on site or on the road.
• Maintains a clean and tidy work area ensuring a professional image is maintained
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Effective stock management to ensure minimum lead-times between sales confirmation and installation, or equipment faults and repair.
• Assumes responsibility for quality of all installations and serviceability of equipment on site by undertaking audits and inspections of workmanship to ensure British Standards are surpassed
