The Role

 

As a Production Scientist, you will be tasked with manufacturing products, providing support to the Production Manager and ensuring that production materials are available.

 

You’ll work across the manufacturing process in a laboratory environment, supporting both manufacturing and R&D activities at our client’s Camberley site.

 

Your role will also involve:

 

- Completing Certificate of Analysis documents in addition to any other QC documents that may be required for customers

- Preparation of intermediates and bulk reagents to support kit production or for supply to customers

- Preparation of vaccines, IgG and other biological materials

- QC testing of raw materials, intermediates and final kits

- Performing equipment calibrations

- Writing clear, concise SOPs, procedures and policies

- Assisting in resolving customer complaints

 

About You

 

To be considered as a Production Scientist, you will need:

 

- Experience of working with a laboratory team, ideally in the medical device industry

- A track record of working with quality management systems

- Previous experience of ISO 13485 and/or ISO9001

- A BSc in scientific field or equivalent experience in a biotech company

- The ability to multitask

- A keen eye for detail

 

Although not essential, a background in Microbiology would be beneficial to your application. Previous experience in QC or Production would also be an advantage.
