Are you the next member of the Love Kate's team? We need a highly organised, customer and team focused Office Manager to join our online cards and gifts business as it begins an exciting new phase of growth.

You will be experienced in managing day-to-day operations and successfully meeting deadlines.  You will be flexible and able to adapt quickly to meet the seasonal demands of the greetings industry.  You will have an eye for detail, an enthusiasm for managing successfully and a passion for customer service.

What we need you to do:

The key responsibility for this role is to effectively manage the daily operations to ensure accurate processing of all customer orders and their smooth delivery by our partner couriers.  You will organise the warehouse team to ensure every customer order is picked, packed and posted within our strict timescales and exacting standards.  You will be responsible for managing all areas of our customer service across a range of communication means.  Once everything is running smoothly you will help influence sales growth and business efficiencies with your talented approach to tasks and great ideas.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing and maintaining customer service and satisfaction via email, telephone and social media
  • Preparing, printing, sorting and checking customer orders at regular intervals daily
  • Communicating and coordinating with the warehouse team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of customer orders
  • Ensuring order personalisation requests are implemented correctly and to high standards
  • Organising stock deliveries, collections and movements with the warehouse team

Other responsibilities of the role:

  • Providing support to marketing, helping to create and maintain online content and campaigns
  • Assisting with the creation of new product records, text, data and imagery
  • Monitoring and maintaining social media platforms and posts
  • Monitoring and maintaining customer feedback across all channels
  • Providing administrative support to the HR, Payroll and Accounts Teams based in London
  • Appointed keyholder with occasional out of hours weekend customer care monitoring and communications
  • Providing support to Kate as required

We’re looking for someone with these things:

  • Degree level qualification, preferably in business, management, administration or a similar, relevant discipline
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fluent in all Office based programmes particularly Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure and focus in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a good sense of humour

And these skills/experience would also be beneficial:

  • Experience of sales and/or marketing
  • Creative flair
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms in business
  • Basic knowledge of ecommerce selling platforms

We operate a multichannel retail environment including website, ebay and amazon, selling an exciting range of bespoke, innovative products. We’re absolutely committed to our customers, offering a range of special services such as hand written messages and gift wrapping to ensure that we offer excellent customer service with a personal touch. We like to reflect this in our marketing and no quibble customer care strategies. We also offer a fabulous rural location in central Cornwall just a 10-minute drive from Newquay. We are a small team based in Cornwall but with support from our parent company who are based in London.  We are looking for someone to join us full-time in this exciting new role to support our CEO and founder, Kate.
