The Warehouse Manager will support the Site General Manager by taking ownership for all day to day Warehouse functions whilst building and developing the strength and depth of the entire Warehouse team.
the role-holder will also be responsible for:

+ driving the operations strategic and tactical continuous improvement plans with full budgetary responsibility for all aspects of the warehouse functions.
+ planning of workload and resources of their team and remit to ensure that customer delivery targets are met on OTIF, Financial measures around CPU, stock targets of accuracy %.

Key Accountabilities:

+ Providing a visible shop floor presence and leadership to a diverse and variable workforce with a heavy reliance on temporary labour
+ Managing all aspects of the warehouse operations including: Goods in, Putaway, Production Picks, Replen, D2C Pick, Wholesale Pick, Inventory Management, Returns, Planning, Reporting
+ Culture, must display the ability to lead people with tact, diplomacy & maturity and possess the personal drive to inspire others to reach the goals as set out in the strategic and operational plans
+ Responsible for delivering the customer delivery proposition (OTIF)
+ Responsible for budgetary control 
+ Responsible for ensuring that KPI targets are met at minimum cost per unit (CPU)
+ Resource planning across the warehouse
+ Ensuring H&S regulations and good manual handling practice is adhered to create a safe working environment
+ Leading and engaging the warehouse Team to deliver continued business performance and ensure the warehouse can support future business growth
+ Working alongside the Site General Manager and Production Manager to create the strategic direction for the whole Distribution Centre translating this in to a working operational plan to create a "best in class" distribution operation
+ Be a brand ambassador with all internal and external stakeholders
+ Be able to act on own initiative and engage senior leadership team and key stakeholders in the value and logic of strategic and tactical business proposals
+ Liaising with key stakeholders across the business to drive best practise across the supply chain
+ Maximising efficiency through use of our WMS (Warehouse Management System) Accellos One
+ Working in accordance with supplier’s manuals, specifications and other requirements communicated by the customer
+ Developing and improving processes, both physical and system driven
+ Managing workload priorities to meet customer requirements and carrier collection deadlines
+ Promoting high standards of housekeeping and presentation in the workplace 

About You:

+ Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced warehouse
+ People-Management / Supervisory experience (4 Direct Reports - 2x Assistant Warehouse Managers, 2x Inventory Managers)
+ Experience working in a similar SME environment with multi-SKU pick-pack experience would be a strong advantage 
+ Good Excel and MS Office skill level and experience with commercial use
+ Self-motivated and target driven with the ability to work independently
+ Versatile and deadline conscious, with the ability to plan with short notice
+ Able to work accurately and efficiently with a strong quality focus
+ A good verbal and written communicator
+ Sage and WMS experience & previous exposure to supplying large retailers would be advantageous
