Support worker, Derby Based, Immediate start, Temporary 3 month ongoing role
Your new company
The company you will be working for provides supported accommodation to vulnerable adults and children with a range of complex needs, including mental health issues, substance misuse, those fleeing domestic violence, veterans, homelessness and asylum
Your new role
In your new role you will be helping young adults between 16-25 that have complex needs or who are seeking asylum you will be helping and assisting them with education needs and health appointments and liaising with any agencies or companies needed to help improve and help the adult. You will be helping assist them with advice around independent living and their behavioural needs.
What you'll need to succeed
For you to succeed in this role you will need a full enhanced DBS, Full UK driving license and a genuine want to help.
What you'll get in return
In return you will work for a dedicated housing provider who will give you a 37.5 hour week with a temporary 3 month ongoing role, you will also be supplied with a company phone and a full training programme.
