GBP28,000 p.a. + benefits
Full-time, 35 hours per week
Based in Colchester, Essex
This post offers an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver Lepra's work in India, providing guidance, resource management and support to LEPRA Society staff, acquiring institutional funding, managing externally sourced donor grants and contributing to policy and advocacy work at country and UK/International levels.
To be successful in this role you will have at least two years' Desk / Programme Management experience with an overseas development organisation, a relevant health qualification and/or notable experience of managing health projects, along with an up-to-date familiarity with issues and practice in the wider international development sector. Recent experience of preparing successful programme grant applications is essential, as is your knowledge of programme/project planning, budgeting, M&E and reporting.
This role involves regular overseas travel. DBS checks will be carried out for successful candidates. Please note if you have recently been working outside of the UK then you will be required to undertake a criminal records check for the country (ies) you have been in for the past 5 years.
Proof of the right to work in the UK will be required.
