Income officer / Rent account Manager, Nottingham, Competitive Hourly Rate
Your new company
You will be joining a fantastic housing provider who is looking to develop and grow. You will be joining an organisation who puts their tenants at the forefront of their service and focus on providing housing and support to empower their local community, you will be responsible for helping minimise rent arrears and helping tenants with budgeting and putting plans in place to prevent further arrears occurring. You will also need the ability to work and be apart of a team and work cohesively in making sure that tenant processes and compliance are being upheld efficiently.
Your new role
In this role you will be acting as an Income Officer / Rent Account manager ensuring that you are helping tenants. You will be covering a patch of properties ensuring income management is overseen. You will be responsible for the current tenant rent arrears recovery process and other debts and work in relation to the Association's policies and procedures. You will be required to manage the work relating to all collection and recovery issues for a designated patch of properties. You will act as the main point of contact between the landlord and the tenant on issues relating to rent collection. As an income officer you will also be required to chase up rent arrears as well as carrying out court processes when necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
As a full income officer and rent account manager you will be working a 37 hour week, on a temporary contract and covering Nottinghamshire. Your main office will be in Nottingham and you will be reimbursed for your travel required for the day to day job. In order to succeed you will need to have the want and drive to help provide the best customer service to customer and tenants and want to help improve the lives of the tenants by helping with their Rent and income queries weather this be taking payments or helping with arrears.
