An opportunity has arisen within our client's ICT section (ESN, Emergency Services Network) for the role of ICT Service Continuity, based at their Headquarters in Sheffield.

ICT Service Continuity (ESN) (Hardware)
Salary:
£24,799 - £26,999 (Grade 6)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Work Pattern: Flexi time
Contract: Permanent
Location: Sheffield, S1

The overall purpose of the role will be to participate as a member of a team of ICT support personnel, responsible for ensuring the continuing effective running of this service including maintaining security, hardware, software, network and applications.

To be considered for this role you will have previous experience of

  • Managing security of user access to assure Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability;
  • Designing and conducting tests.
  • Dealing with Third Party suppliers

Key to this role is the ability to think laterally and solve complex problems logically and to work constructively as part of the wider ICT team. You will need extensive knowledge and understanding of Window client/server operating systems and in-depth knowledge of computer systems/networks and a range of software applications.

You will need GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent, and a recognised ICT Qualification.
