We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our Registry team, taking a lead role in supporting Timetabling and Examinations. The role of timetabling is fundamental to both the operation of the University College and the experience of our students.

You will be required to deliver a high-quality academic timetable. You will work collaboratively across the University College to deliver efficient and effective academic, examinations and induction timetables. You will also be required to undertake accurate data entry and schedule a large number of activities, which requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with a variety of customers and activities.  

In addition, you will work in conjunction with the Examinations Officer, supporting the timely and accurate schedule of student examinations, and supporting the invigilation of exams. You will also assist in the production and distribution of examination timetables for both Further and Higher Education.

We are seeking a methodical and IT literature candidate, with excellent interpersonal, diplomatic and problem-solving skills. Experience of using MS Office and MS Excel spreadsheets, together with knowledge of timetabling related business processes, is essential. You must also have excellent organisational skills, be proactive and have an eye for detail, whilst working under pressure operating a complex room booking system. You will also be required to work closely with the University College Conference and Events Manager and Short Course Team to ensure room utilisation for additional income generating activities is maximised. 

Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that you the ability to work flexibly to meet the changing needs of the department in meeting student requirements.
