An exciting opportunity has arisen at Writtle University College for a motivated Finance Assistant to join our Student Finance team. This is a key role within the department, with a strong focus on Sales Ledger and Credit Control.
You will be required to raise student invoices and associated credit control, liaising with solicitors, the Student Loan Company, and a diverse range of students. In addition, you will also be responsible for commercial credit control and dealing with the associated queries and reports.
You will work closely with the Student Finance Supervisor, in supporting the reconciliation of aged student debt, along with liaising with the Admissions team to investigate and to resolve any invoice queries and non-payment issues.
To succeed in your application, you will have excellent written and oral communication skills, computer proficiency and efficient administration skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have experience within a similar role, and having worked in a comparable environment would be considered an advantage, but not essential.
