Our client is currently seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role presents a great opportunity for an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager with an proven background in hospitality to support the continued growth and improvement of a well-established business. 

The Role: As a Sales and Marketing Manager you will be proactive in increasing our business in the local and national market place.  You will also work to engage with new, existing and prospective clients to ensure sales objectives are achieved. 

Duties include but are not limited to: -

  • Working with senior management to communicate and create a clear sales plan and develop business strategies to achieve budgets
  • Attend exhibitions, conferences, networking events where appropriate to win new business and consolidate our relationships with existing clients. 
  • Monitor financial performance
  • Under and manager year budgets
  • Motivate, inspire, coach and support staff to improve and develop to their full potential
  • Implement professional business plans for communications such as team meetings, formal and informal staff feedback
  • Oversee the accurate and competent completion of rotas and time records in your departments.
  • Ensure exemplary service is provided without fail to a 4/5 start criteria
  • Encourage and deliver genuine care and attention
  • Make good use of time using delegation, prioritisation and organisation
  • Plan well for all aspects of your team

Candidate Specification: For this position we are seeking applications from candidates with;

  • Experienced in developing and managing relationships with external stakeholders
  • Strong background in hospitality 
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experienced planning, delivering and reviewing marketing initiatives both on and off line
  • Excellent time management
  • Experienced in B2B sales opportunities
  • Highly motivated
