In addition to over 900 students progressing to university from the College, 200 students choose to study a Higher-Level course available at their University Centre each year.
Joining our client as a Lecturer in A Level & Vocational Science (L2 & L3), either on a full time or fixed term basis, specifically Biology, you must deliver excellent and inclusive teaching and learning in the classroom so that learners are inspired to succeed and progress.
As an enthusiastic expert in your area, you will integrate appropriate and inspirational curriculum resources including ILT into lessons and plan delivery so that schemes of work and lesson plans support achievement. Undertaking ongoing high-quality formative and summative assessment of learners’ work, both in class and through regular out of class activity to monitor progress, you must aim to ensure that learners succeed through progress reviews and initiate and respond to new curriculum developments and plan resources as appropriate.
Educated to degree level or equivalent in Biology or a related subject area, you must have experience of successful teaching (or teaching practice for NT’s) on Biology, or related courses and hold a full teaching qualification or professional recognition in learning and skills.
