Penguin Recruitment are pleased to be working alongside an award-winning consultancy, who are looking for an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join their rapidly growing team in Ipswich.
Our client have a successful, multi-disciplined Building Services team. With multiple offices across the UK, and a number of awards to recognise their outstanding contribution to the market, you will have the chance to join and develop your career with one of the UK's most recognisable names.
To be considered for the role, you will have:-
* BSc/BEng (or equivalent) in an appropriate environmental/sustainability/building services discipline
* Experience in the management and delivery of BREEAM Assessments in line with project programmes
* Attending design meetings and liaising with clients
* Hold a BREEAM Qualification such as New Construction 2014 or be a BREEAM Accredited Professional is essential.
* Non-domestic EPC or SAP qualifications would also be favourable however not essential
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
* PC literate including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
In your role you will undertake the preparation of Pre-assessment, Design Stage and Post Construction reports of all allocated BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes, Daylighting, and general energy / sustainability consultancy tasks. Projects range from small to large.
You will also have experience in carrying out assessments from start to finish, dealing with multiple projects and will have the opportunity to work closely with the existing MEP team to learn and carry out modelling and building performance analysis.
