Telephone Advice Line Officer (Education) / Support and Information Advisor
Home based across the UK
£52,712 - £58,064 FTE
0.4 part time, permanent

ASCL is seeking to appoint a part-time member to our team of hotline staff answering telephone enquiries to give advice on a range of issues. The post would suit recently retired leaders/ administrators (or candidates looking for a more flexible style of working/ part time hours) of educational institutions with good experience of school or college leadership and a strong interest in professional issues.

This role is paid on a five-point incremental range from £52,712 – £58,064 per annum (£21,085 - £23,226 pro rata 0.4) Reasonable travel and out-of-pocket expenses are also covered. The postholder will work from home, with IT and telephone equipment provided, with attendance at ASCL HQ in Leicester and other locations across the UK as required.

ASCL also offers a very generous package of benefits, including a pension scheme to which the association contributes 9%.
