Primary & Secondary Processing Plant Co-Ordinator

Longcliffe Quarries are the UK's leading independent supplier of pure limestone powders, granules and aggregates. 

We are seeking to recruit a Primary & Secondary Processing Plant Co-ordinator at the Brassington Moor Quarry near Matlock in Derbyshire. Reporting to the Primary & Secondary Processing Supervisor, this role offers a challenging opportunity for an ambitious and self-motivated individual to develop ithin a progressive organisation. 

You will be responsible for overseeing the safe, and efficient processing of as-blasted limestone through a series of fixed plant to several surge silos. This includes undertaking inspections of the plant and liaising with the engineering team to ensure a high standard of maintenance and housekeeping are maintained. In addition, you will be expected to drive productivity improvements and report progress on a suite of key performance indicators.

Main Duties & Skills: 

• You will be self-motivated and a good communicator. 
• Experience of operating a quarry processing plant. 
• Preferably a member of the Institute of Quarrying, with a history of relevant continual professional development. 
• Basic IT sills. 
• Able to demonstrate competence for the role.
