Area Sales Manager - Selling to electrical wholesale - Midlands

Are you looking for a challenging regional sales role within a respected, successful and growing business? This forward-thinking lighting and electrical products manufacturer is looking for a proactive Area Sales Manager to take ownership of and grow their client-base across the Midlands region. The role will be 70% developing new business within electrical wholesale accounts and 30% account management.

The Opportunity

You'll be joining a successful manufacturer with ambitious growth plans. Their continuous investment in new technology, research, development and marketing makes them a key supplier to the UK's GBP9.8 billion electrical wholesale market. Providing products that are designed to a high specification, this business has a strong reputation in the industry and continues to grow as part of a GBP600 million UK group.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will:

• Develop and build on relationships with a portfolio of existing customers
• Ensure the achievement of set targets and objectives
• Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to develop company performance and revenue
• Present, communicate and sell to all levels of a varied and growing customer base
• Build relationships with new customers

Rewards

• Starting salary of GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 (depending on experience)

Requirements

You should be energetic, ambitious and money-motivated ideally with previous experience either selling to electrical wholesalers or working for an electrical wholesaler.
