Our client provides a broad range of Environmental Consultancy services to clients from both the public and private sectors. Their ecology team is based UK wide and is involved in a comprehensive range of projects to help provide solutions to clients ecological issues. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Ecologist to join their Lincolnshire based team.
The role will involve assisting with the development of a team of ecologists and responsibility for the management of a diverse range of ecological projects as well as the ongoing management of staff. Other duties will include habitat and species surveys and extensive client liaison to give advice and support on ecological issues and promote a high quality, integrated service. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to assist the environmental team and provide input into environmental impact assessments.
Applicants must have a degree in Ecology. Relevant experience of project management in a consultancy environment is essential along with experience of ecological surveying, impact assessment and mitigation.
Applicants must hold at least one English Nature licence and possess exceptional identification skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required for the role as is CIEEM Membership.
