Public Practice Recruitment Limited is working with a successful Staffordshire based accountancy practice to source a Senior Accountant to support their Client Management Team. This Senior Accountant Job in Stoke-on-Trent is suitable for an ambitious ACCA/ACA qualified accountant who is currently working in a public practice accountancy firm.
The role will involve assisting in the management of a portfolio of clients across a breadth of sectors and is very much a client facing role.
This accountancy practice provides a range of accounting services together with more specialist business advisory services.
Ideally suited towards a career orientated Senior Accountant who is eager to progress within a Stoke-on-Trent based firm of accountants.
The Senior Accountant will undertake:
• Year-End compliance work for a range of clients including Sole Traders, Partnerships & Limited Companies
• VAT Returns
• Personal tax returns and providing basic tax advice to clients
• Supporting the work and development of Junior and part qualified accountants
• Production of management accounts
The ideal Senior Accountant will be ACA or ACCA qualified and have a proven track record within a public practice. You will be confident in communicating with clients at all levels, and in managing multiple deadlines. We are ideally looking for an accountant who has experience in using Xero or other cloud accounting platforms.
