Hours 39 pw (8 – 5 Mon - Thu, 8 – 1 Fri)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Training Co-ordinator/Assessor to join the friendly team of our prestigious and well-established client who manufacture luxury motorhomes. This is a newly created position for a Training Assessor, reporting directly to the Head of HR.

The role:

The post primarily involves the delivery and assessment of competence in the workplace and one-to one support, working closely with the Production, HR and H&S Team.

Key responsibilities – Training Assessor:

 

  • Learn and understand a wide variety of job duties to a high level of detail
  • Ability to document work to a high level of detail for training
  • Monitor & administer training, motivating to achieve maximum quality & productivity
  • Effectively train others in a production or classroom environment
  • Validate training materials by working with process engineer, HR Team and H&S
  • Observe and audit work to make necessary changes to documentation or processes
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance and adherence to the quality standards and SOP
  • The co-ordination and delivery of the on-site training incorporating: SOP, SSW and RA
  • Responsible for the updating of Training records, training matrices, and SOP control sheets
  • Assess, review and monitor agreed training on an individual basis, initiating corrective action, where appropriate
  • Review training evaluation forms, implementing changes as needed
  • Actively support in all site audits
  • The co-ordination and delivery of the on-site training programme including company inductions
  • Ensure safety briefs delivered at commencement of any training
  • Ensure all training documentation conforms to H&S requirements
  • Conduct operations in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
  • Ability to Co-ordinate H&S tasks during absences

 

Personal specification – Training Co-ordinator:

 

  • Level 3 qualified assessor in a relevant subject
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • A good team player
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to be self-directing with a high level of accountability
  • Relevant experience within a manufacturing environment
  • H&S experience would be an advantage
  • Experience of co-ordinating and delivering training
