Salary: £40,000 per annum
Based: Cambridge

Our client, a Cambridge College, is seeking an enthusiastic Events Manager to further develop and implement a highly profitable and competitive conference and events strategy for the College.

Solid competitor analysis, effective marketing, strong relationship management and motivational team management will be equally integral parts of driving new business to the College, as well as maximising the current client portfolio and ensuring the smooth running of College events.

The successful postholder will have proven skills in the creation and delivery of sales and events plans that achieve pre-booked sales targets, as well as a track record of sales generation in the hospitality sector. They will also possess highly effective team management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills will be foundational for this role, in which pro-activity, efficiency and meticulous follow-up are a given.

This role is full-time and is paid £40,000pa FTE, and staff benefits include a group personal pension plan, 25 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays, lunch provision when kitchens are open, cycle scheme and on-site car parking.
