We are looking to recruit a full-time Fire Protection Inspecting Officer to work within our Fire Protection Team, based at Service Headquarters in Birstall.

You will have a good understanding and knowledge of risk management processes and their application. You will also be required to have a high-level of written communication skills sufficient to write complex reports.

Effective interpersonal, presentation and communication skills are essential in this role due to the varied audiences.

The successful applicant will hold a Level 3 Certificate in Fire Safety, or be able to evidence an equivalent level of knowledge and experience, and be willing to work towards completing the Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety during the probationary period.

You will be required to work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility can be given regarding start and finish times and a job share may be considered. This can be discussed at interview.
