Part-time, 14.8 hours p/w | Permanent | £10,214-£11,873 P/A (pro rata of £25,536-£29,683)

We are seeking a Legal Officer to support the Senior Leadership Team by undertaking the responsibility for the central legal and insurance function including reviewing and/or drafting of contractual documentation and providing advice and guidance to College leaders and staff. You will also lead on the development, co-ordination and administration of the College’s Data Protection and Freedom of Information responsibilities.

If you would like to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity, you will need:

  • Appropriate legal/insurance qualification (CILEX) or evidence of progress towards achievement
  • Experience of successfully managing relations with internal and external business contacts
  • Good research skills and analytical and problem solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
