Lead Teacher of English – Leadership scale (negotiable depending on experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic Lead Teacher of English who has a passion for their subject and an ambition to make positive steps in their teaching career. We see this role as a stepping stone to eventually becoming a Senior Leader.  Working with the Director of English you will be responsible for raising standards of teaching and learning within the department. You will also work with SLT to lead and support on whole school initiatives aimed at raising the standard of teaching and learning across the academy.  You should have an excellent track record of teaching English and be able to inspire and coach staff. We are seeking a Lead Teacher of English who is committed to making a difference to the lives of the students of Sirius Academy North.
