The CSP is the trade union and educational, professional organisation for the UK’s 58,000 chartered physiotherapists, support workers and students; and one of the largest representative bodies in healthcare.

Covering Wales and part of the West Midlands region, you will work with our stewards and safety representatives, supporting and advising them in providing individual and collective industrial relations support to members, working across the health and social care sector.

You will represent the CSP on the Welsh Partnership Forum and the West Midlands Social Partnership Forum.  You will also represent members at disciplinary hearings, grievances and disputes with employers, and provide general advice and information to members on issues such as pay, terms and conditions, and employment legislation.

With significant trade union negotiating and industrial relations experience at a senior level, and an understanding of NHS structures and government policy on health, you will have first-class communication, training and presentational skills, combined with a strong team ethic and a thorough understanding of, and commitment to, equality and diversity principles and the ability to put them into practice.

Our Values

At the CSP our goal is to create a culture which is characterised by innovation, respect, encouragement, passion and teamwork.  We all strive for continuous improvement and to be the best at everything we do.  We aspire to work in a way that embodies our values of learning, courage, inclusive and integrity.  Our shared values are part of our organisational DNA and reflect the expectations we have of ourselves and others. They guide what we do and how we do it to have the greatest impact for our members.
