Are you passionate about Governance and Compliance and empower people to feel the same? Do you want to work in an autonomous/flexible and agile way?

We are currently recruiting for a Director of Governance to ensure that Greenfields has a proactive, clearly articulated and strong business governance framework that meets regulatory and compliance legislation and is supported by up to date robust policies and evidenced procedures.

You will lead the Governance team to manage group company registers, drive information governance in line with GDPR, deliver and maintain a strong governing body, support Board and Committee members and drive strategic development. With an excellent understanding of risk management, legal and compliance issues, you will shape the framework of assurance and internal control and lead a legal compliance programme across the organisation, influencing and negotiating at top level and have a track record of making strategic recommendations to address opportunities and challenges at Board and Committees.

Working closely with colleagues in our Leadership Team you shall build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, using your excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to deliver the organisation ambition and strategic objectives. With a strong strategic and operational mindset, you’ll develop and motivate teams to maximise their potential and drive performance.

We are an inclusive organisation and aim for our staff profile to reflect that of the community we serve. We welcome opportunities for you to apply on a full time, fully flexible basis. For the right person we will be adaptable with hours and times to suit a mutually agreeable way of working.
