Scale point 5 - 6: £18,795 - £19,171 pro rata (£13,775 - £14,051 actual)

Fixed term, term time only, 31.67 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum

Required after Easter 2019, two 1-2-1 Teaching Assistants whose duty will be to support individual students with specific needs. You will take responsibility for ensuring the students can access all curriculum learning and fulfil their academic potential under an agreed system of supervision. This will include assisting with creating a bespoke timetable to fit around the student and their needs (may include intimate care needs for the student), supporting the student in optimising the use of technology where appropriate, monitoring their movements around the school and managing sensitive issues that arise from the student’s condition, being the daily link with parents and class teachers.

If you are a good communicator and have experience of working with young people in a learning environment; the ability to encourage and nurture students to learn and to maintain discipline in the classroom and can work flexibly during the course of the year, we would like to hear from you.
