Planner / Project engineer Job Responsibilities:

Prepares cost estimates by analysing customer proposals and requirements.
Project manage all machining disciplines within projects.

Planner / Project engineer Job Duties:

•Plan and project manage all machining disciplines in house and sub contract.
•Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents.
•Identifies labour, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents.
•Computing costs of projects analysing for materials, labour and time requirements.
•Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.
•Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
•Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
•Maintains technical knowledge by attending to customer feedbacks; reviewing technical data attained.
•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
•Liaising on and off site with customer and sub-contractors.
•Chasing build parts to enable customer end product.

Driving projects to completion, Estimating, Planning, Experience of Machining Disciplines, external coating processes, Reporting Results, Analysing Information, Data Experience, Strategic Planning, Attention to Detail, Understanding and be fully aware of Aerospace standards:

Experience of all Machining Disciplines
