The Company 

Our client is a South-West based interiors expert with a rich history in distribution, and more recently the manufacturing of products designed to improve and enhance homes.

Due to a colleague leaving and a restructure, they are now seeking a Sales Team Leader to join their team and drive increased sales and further company success.

Your Role 

As the Sales Team Leader, you will be tasked with developing sales and providing leadership to a team of sales personnel based within their office.

You’ll focus on improving service levels and customer service whilst playing a hands-on role in the achievement of team and company targets. Utilising feedback gained from customers, you will seek to enhance the manner in which products and services are presented, giving more buying confidence to customers and increasing the company’s reputation and turnover. 

As the business expands into the commercial as well as domestic sector, you will take the lead on commercial bathroom and kitchen sales as well. 

Your role will also involve: 

- Setting tasks for your team and recording and monitoring team targets 
- Driving initiatives to increase customer satisfaction and company growth 
- Sourcing new business in collaboration with the Field Sales Team 
- Training and coaching Sales Team members 
- Quality checking team members’ work 
- Developing new revenue streams 
- Updating systems and pricing 

About You 

To be considered as the Sales Team Leader, you will need: 

- Sales experience 
- The confidence to work with and/or lead and encourage a team whilst leading from the front managing KPIs 
- Experience in a fast paced, busy environment 

Kitchen, commercial, building or home improvements sales experience would be beneficial to your application.
