Salary: SCP 23 – 25 £26,999 - £28,785 (Old SCP 29-31)

Contract Type: 40 weeks (35 hours)

The Opportunity:

We are seeking to appoint two experienced practitioners to join our pastoral team from September 2019. The successful candidates will be required to lead the pastoral care for a year group work alongside four other pastoral leads, two behaviour mentors, a school counsellor and two education
welfare officers to ensure that any barriers to learning are removed and that the students in their year group are successfully supported.

We welcome applications from experienced pastoral workers in schools as well as colleagues who have experience supporting young people through work in other public sector roles such as the police, the NHS, social care and the probation service.

Our pastoral team is very supportive with a strong shared vision. Our students are at the heart of everything we do. We are at the start of an exciting new chapter in our journey and are looking for someone who can build and lead our student support team to deliver the very best care for our
students.
