Senior Information Governance Officer

Location: Plymouth

Salary: £25,551 per year (pro rata)

Hours: 30hrs per week (2 year fixed term contract)

What will your duties and responsibilities be?

Supporting the Operations Director and Senior Management team in developing and coordinating effective information governance across The Zone to ensure compliance with data protection legislation and best practice. You will provide a first point of contact for queries around how personal information should be handled, providing advice and guidance to stakeholders across the organisation. You’ll support the response to incidents, identify and assess information governance risks, and ensure that follow up actions are taken.

You will have experience and up to date knowledge of information governance and data protection legislation across a range of information systems. You will be looking for an opportunity to improve governance and associated processes and find creative and effective solutions within a local charity.
