We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic lecturer to join our established team in the wood trades section, construction academy.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate high levels of flexibility in their approach to the delivery of their teaching and assessment for all levels in the wood occupations curriculum, from entry through to advanced. We are especially keen to receive applications from those who possess site carpentry experience and qualifications.
The candidate will take ownership, manage and act as a tutor for students on full-time, apprenticeship programmes, and have an understanding of the assessment processes, preparation of teaching materials, and practical exercises in line with the syllabus.
The successful candidate will act as a personal tutor to students, working on a one-to-one basis, recording and monitoring student attendance and progress.
