Do you want to WOW customers and join a forward thinking social housing company who want to invest and develop in a career that grows with you? We're looking for people with amazing customer service skills to join our established Contact Centre Team.
Curo have been ranked in the top 50 in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not-for-Profit Organisations to work for in the whole of the UK. We are one of the largest landlords in the South West, with a diverse portfolio of affordable and market rented homes.
What you'll be doing
You’ll experience 3 weeks of training within your first 16 weeks covering all aspects of Social Housing to make sure you’re ready with the knowledge and confidence to support our customers. Even then, you won’t be on your own; you’ll be part of a great team supporting you as you gain experience in handling a wide variety of queries over the phone. You’ll use your judgement to support, advise and guide your customers, and you’ll take responsibility for gathering information or finding out answers. You’ll give great service by putting your customers’ interests at the heart of every decision you make.
More about you
You’ll have experience of a customer service role, not necessarily in a Contact Centre environment. Helping people will matter to you, and you’ll find satisfaction using your amazing customer skills to give them the best experience possible. You will also have a desire to make a difference to people’s lives because this is a big part of what you will be doing every day.
At the same time you will demonstrate resilience and the desire to work in a fast paced environment where no day is ever the same!
When and where you'll be doing it
To serve our customers well, our Customer Service lines are open 8am-8pm Monday to Friday. Our office isn't open on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays. You will know well in advance the shift patterns you will be working each week but you will need to be able to commit to working flexibly, based on your customers’ needs.
What will you get in return?
We think you’ll have a job that makes you feel good about what you’re doing – you will make a difference to our customers’ lives every day.
You’ll get:
- Starting salary of £17,646 per annum with the opportunity to work up to a salary of £22,500 per annum. Depending on your progress the uplift in salary could happen at or shortly after the point when you pass probation (6 months)
- Company Pension contribution of up to 10%
- Flexible Benefits including health care, gym membership, additional holiday purchase
- 26 days (pro rata) annual leave per year (plus bank holidays) rising to 29 after 3 years’ service
- Additional day annual leave on your birthday
- Opportunity to earn additional performance related pay

We also welcome applications from Curo customers.
