Overview

DVT Global (UK), Ltd. is an affiliate of DV Trading, LLC, a proprietary trading firm that specializes in the trading of cleared financial commodity products. DV Energy, a division of DV Trading, is a liquidity provider in Brent, WTI, distillates, gasoline, fuel oil, and Henry Hub natural gas.

DV Energy is looking for someone eager to join and support an actively growing team.

Job Responsibilities

• Work side by side with senior energy traders and analysts
• Learn proprietary methodologies and trading systems that support an established trading business
• Real-time risk management in the form of trade entry and risk layoffs
• Start and end of day position and profit/loss reconciliation
• Build and maintain trading models
• Enhance existing trades; identify and pursue new opportunities
• Liaise between trading group, internal company departments, and OTC relationships
• Oversee and improve day to day processes as needed
• Further responsibilities may be driven by the individual’s interests and specific skills

Requirements  

• Previous extensive experience in trading required
• Proficiency in Bloomberg and Thompson Reuters Eikon required.
• Possess a strong work ethic and be able to learn quickly in a fast paced, high pressure environment
• Detail oriented, organized, diligent
• Maintain composure and communicate clearly when under pressure
• Ability to succeed working as part of a diversified team
• Strong interest in trading and energy markets in particular
• Strong understanding of math, probability, and statistics
• High level of proficiency in Excel
• Advanced aptitude for problem solving and multitasking
• Keeps up-to-date with financial products, legislation and requirements for compliance with all applicable regulations

Salary Range: £55,000 - £70,000
