Job Role:

As Account Manager, you will take ownership of current non-managed accounts within the UK and be responsible for the development of business within these. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a base of existing customers as well as pro-actively identifying and penetrating new accounts, turning prospects into customer appointments, sales opportunities and orders!

You will promote the company's auto ID, bar code scanning and mobile data collection devices / support services to a wide range of existing / new users, servicing customers in the retail, logistics, healthcare and public sector markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily management of existing customers, with growth
  • 'warm lead' calling / telesales to existing, and cold calling new
  • Database management and sales project
  • Build a pipeline of project based
  • Representing company at trade shows, exhibitions, events to generate
  • Face to face selling and customer visits across

The Candidate:

As an Account Manager, you must have some internal / external sales experience, preferably in a related field (e. information technology / IT). An understanding of technical / IT / mobile data technology / engineering is an advantage with strong verbal, written and presentational communication skills, they are looking for a Team player who is able and capable of working independently, you will be motivated by the opportunity to earn uncapped commission, and driven to hit the phones to achieve this!
