PRESS OFFICER
STR Group Services are working with a leading Public Sector client based in Westminster and we are recruiting for a Press Officer for a 6-month contract, on a full-time basis. It's paying up to GBP280 per day and is in scope of IR35.
In order to be considered for this position, you must have the following experience and skills;
* Public Sector experience is essential, either in local or central government.
* CTC clearance is needed prior to start this position.
* A proven track record of working on proactive announcements, launches and campaigns.
* A talent in developing and nurturing excellent contacts with the media and external stakeholders.
* Good writing skills - you can turn around clean, crisp copy in plain English to tight deadlines.
* Good oral communications skills combined with the confidence to deal with people at all levels.
* The confidence and skills to quickly get to grips with our agenda and build knowledge of our organisation.
* Ability to persuade others of the benefits of your recommendations or negotiate with others.
