The Client
B3Living is the largest independent housing association in the Borough of Broxbourne, providing more than 4,600 homes across Hertfordshire and Essex. Our mission is to build and manage affordable homes - for social rent, private rent and shared ownership – helping to tackle the housing crisis in Broxbourne.
The Role
We are looking for a multi-trader, ideally with a carpentry background, to carry out repairs and maintenance work in our properties.
You will use your specialist skills and knowledge to fix problems in our residents’ homes, respond to emergency calls and make sure your van is stocked with the right equipment.
Your work will be of the highest standard, making sure that your tools are used safely, PAT tested, cleaned and stored securely.
It goes without saying that you will meet all the appropriate Healthy and Safety regulations and that you will always keep our residents’ homes safe and secure.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of multi-trade work and ideally have a carpentry background. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative and prioritise and plan work effectively. Ideally, you will hold a Level 5 NVQ, City and Guilds or equivalent in an appropriate trade. You must have a manual driving licence.
Due to the nature of the role a DBS check is required.
