1532 Theatre manager

This is an exciting opportunity to take the 1532 Performing Art Centre into the next stage of development. Since it opened in September 2016 the School has been proud of what has been achieved. This new facility has begun to make its mark on the arts within the city, providing a venue for both community groups and professional performances.

As we venture into its third year, the School is keen to enter the next phase; to explore further opportunities so that 1532 becomes well established in the city as a place which offers comedy, music, dance and drama, ensuring a wide programme of events throughout the year.  Managing this within the confines of a busy School is not easy and the successful applicant will need to work collaboratively with the 1532 Operations Manager to ensure that there is clarity of use of the spaces.

The role has broad and wide-ranging administrative and operational responsibilities for the general day to day running of 1532 and is pivotal in the development of how the Centre is used. Duties and responsibilities will include managing the annual programme of events, managing effective marketing campaigns for all 1532 related events, responsibility for the public programme budget and providing production support for major school productions.
