What you will be doing
The Operations Manager will effectively manage and continually improve the processes, systems and team enabling the delivery of world class events and programs, ensuring positive marketing and communications which enhances and grows the brand, our programs and mission
• To act as part of the senior management team, contributing to the organisations strategy
• Uphold and promote WOMEN AHEAD MOVING AHEAD values and philosophy
• Contribute to the development of a positive culture and high performing team through leading, coaching and supporting the Operations Team to ensure high employee engagement, trust and ongoing development to meet the current and future needs of the organisation
• To manage the IT systems, software and hardware
• To oversee financial operations; the budgeting process, invoicing, expenses, marketing and communications budget, events budget, outsourcing and forecasting, ensuring effective financial controls are in place
• To manage the Marketing and Communications team ensuring strong, consistent and professional branding in all materials and communications
• To manage the Events team ensuring all Events are professional organised and managed providing a great experience to clients
• In conjunction with the Head of Programmes, identify and develop the reporting and KPI requirements and ensure that robust data is collated and reported in a timely manner, enabling feedback to clients, effective management of KPIs and the identification of improvements
• To manage people policies and procedures.
• To ensure the office operates smoothly and effectively and best practice processes and tools are established and maintained
• Collaborate, knowledge share and build relationships across all teams
You will ideally have
• Strong team player and highly collaborative
• Build relationships at all levels - internal and external
• A positive and enthusiastic approach
• Previous line management experience and experience of managing specialists
• Previous experience of budget management
• Previous experience of process management
• Knowledge in the Diversity and Inclusion field and mentoring
