Full-time (37 hours per week) Payroll Manager contract to start on 18-03-19 until 12-04-19 with a possible extension.
We're seeking a Payroll Manager with a high level of technical knowledge (though a qualification is not required). We'd ideally like someone who has managed the year end process before. The role is responsible for Payroll Officers so we need someone who has a greater knowledge than Payroll Officer level. If the person isn't a strong people manager, we can work around that. It's more important that they are strong Payroll Manager level. Responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of our employee payroll, paying employees accurately an on time. Responsible for pension compliance along with associated reporting and HMRC requirements. To be fully responsible for the management and development of the Payroll team on a daily basis. Ensure the effective delivery of payroll service, ensuring data integrity and a high level of accuracy.
