A permanent Facilities Scheduler position based in Wakefield.

Page Personnel are representing a leading facilities management organisation with a Scheduler vacancy, based in Wakefield.
Description
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Producing daily schedules for operatives using the planning software.
- Managing and dispatching emergency and urgent works to ensure SLAs are achieved.
- Liaising with operational supervisors on a daily basis to sign off schedules, ensure operational workforce is best utilised and all SLAs are achieved.
- Receiving escalation calls or queries from operational staff, advising them of most appropriate course of action with respect time allocations.
- Ensure all scheduling and work planning is correctly entered into the system to ensure audit trail of all activity is accurately recorded.
- Ensure that non-productive time is minimised through effective geographic grouping of work to reduce travel time.
- Ensure that operatives are not overloaded with too much work by not allowing sufficient time to complete works, as determined through liaison with operational supervisors and in accordance with guidance.
- Where required, support administrative colleagues with the management of sub-contractor delivered works (dispatching, ordering and completion) in accordance with company processes and utilising relevant procurement systems.
- Helping cover the Facilities Helpdesk when required.
Profile
Candidates wishing to apply to the role should have:
- Previous workforce planning and dispatch management experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills across all channels - face to face, written and verbal.
- Experience and skills in planning, prioritisation and allocation of works to operatives.
- A good knowledge of maintenance/facilities management.
- Knowledge of CAFM systems.
