Sales Account Manager


Responsible for:

  • Identify commercial fit out project opportunities from new business contacts, as well as through development of PJE’s existing customer base.
  • Provide customers with quotations for projects: work with the design team to prepare project specific designs as well as with our estimator and commercial manager to generate quotes and submit tenders
  • Negotiate with our supply chain and sub-contractor base to get best value for products and services required for project delivery
  • Commercially manage the project to ensure each project returns a profit, on which commission will be paid.
  • Work closely with the project delivery team to achieve tight deadlines.
  • Attend and contribute to sales meetings on a monthly basis
  • Liaise with the PJE Sales Co-ordinator to provide accurate invoice forecasting and report potential orders/project opportunities
  • To develop and maintain knowledge and experience of relevant industry developments
  • To perform such other duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by the PJE Sales Director
  • Adhere to the Compliance Manual and Quality Procedures

Conditions of Employment:            

  • This position is based in the Gloucester office and the hours are 0830hrs to 1700hrs with one hour for lunch.
  • The annual holidays total 24 days 4 of which are designated company days and are taken over the Christmas period on dates dictated by the board.
